I trace shadows of plants to create layered compositions that reflect on time and memory. This is my way of responding to the inevitability of time passing and the ever-changing nature of life.

My process is rooted in direct observation and I work primarily from life, either sketching outdoors or bringing collected subjects into the studio.

Through my work I aim to preserve traces of something ethereal and transient.

I live and work in London, UK.
